Plogging Nigeria Club University of Nigeria is organizing a GREEN HANGOUT
Are you concerned about your surroundings?
Are you bothered about the management of waste systems?
Do you have wonderful ideas on waste management?
Do you have outstanding ideas on environmental sustainability?
Do you want to know more about waste management and environmental sustainability?
Yes?
You don’t know what I’m talking about?
Like, you have no idea at all?
You’ve been thinking of little ways of giving back to the environment?
You don’t think the last question is possible because you’re a student?
Oya, make it a date with Plogging Nigeria Club UNN at the GREEN HANGOUT UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA NSUKKA
Plogging Nigeria Club University of Nigeria is organizing a GREEN HANGOUT UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA NSUKKA which will hold on the 14th of March 2020 by 4 p.m. We are expecting about 100 participants (students, staff and other stakeholders) to meet with the Environmental committee, UNN and have a discussion around the environmental challenges in the University of Nigeria. The discussion is expected to last for an hour
The Green Hangout is a platform where Students, Staff and other stakeholders who are environmentally conscious come together and share wonderful ideas on how best to handle most of the environmental challenges in the University community, though not in a formal way but in a relaxed and fun way which will be reported back to the University Administration, relevant authorities and stakeholders to effect the needed change.
Green Hangout started in Abuja, and then spread to other states like Kaduna, Lagos, Enugu and Oyo but to mention a few, the feedbacks have always been sent back to Ministry of Environment for action sought. University of Nigeria Nsukka will be the first higher institution in Nigeria to host the Green Hangout
After a successful Campus Clean Up that held on the 8th of February, 2020 it is imperative that the conversation must continue in finding lasting solution to the environmental challenges in the university community
YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IT. We’d discuss all the above and more. It promises to be interactive — so bring your questions.
Plogging Nigeria Club is committed to keeping fit and keeping the environment clean. So, this is our little way of sensitizing the general public, let’s face it, many people don’t know these things. You don’t want to miss this for anything, not even your exams
