YEAR 2019 NATIONAL RESEARCH FUND AWARD
The TETFund Committee, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, University of Nigeria, Professor Charles Arizechukwu Igwe wishes to congratulate the under listed Year 2019 NRF intervention awardees.
We are trusting that the awards will enable you through your Research to contribute meaningfully to the Government’s aspiration for national development and in so doing positively project the image and visibility of University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
It also hoped that the success of these 4 Nos. staff beneficiaries will spur other staff to brace for the next cycle (Year 2020 NRF intervention) which is imminent.
Prospective applicants are urged to take time to prepare their concept notes and full proposal in readiness for the Year 2020 NRF Call.
Project Topics that reflect developmental challenges or topics that focus on SDG goals may be more attractive.
Biomedical and agricultural sciences usually get the bulk of the applications. It will be wise and useful for applicants to diversify interest, especially staff with relevant capacity and expertise, into other sectors such as maritime, space research, oil and gas, geology etc
